Recent Recovery Projects

Twin 5000 KVA Substation Transformers

Philadelphia, PA
Northeast Asset Recovery removing a set of twin 5000 KVA substation transformers. This project required coordinating the evaluation, disconnecting and rigging of these 2 large transformers that were positioned 20 feet below grade in a 50 x 75 foot containment well. The site was the former corporate headquarters for an international food conglomerate which mandated precise removal methods.

Data Center Decommissioning

New York
An integral part of Northeast Asset Recovery is data center decommissioning and the transformers in those sites. The image above is part of a massive internet company data center where we removed and repurposed 12 large transformers that were part of an extensive switchgear line up.

Entire Electrical System Decommissioning

New Jersey
This 1500 KVA pad mount transformer was part of an entire electrical system decommissioning project at a major pharmaceutical site in New Jersey. Northeast Asset Recovery was commissioned to remove all the existing transformers and electrical equipment to make way for an entire system upgrade.
